Character reference

• Skirt/jacket patterned by myself and made using silver/purple holographic vinyl fabric (non-stretch) and custom-printed cotton twill (printed by Contrado, design by JT Studio)

• Jacket/shoe heart details made from pink holographic lame

• Shoulder/belt hearts made from pink faux fur

• Additional stretch spandex trim fabrics from Funki Fabrics and Cosplay Fabrics

• Faux pearl beads, custom-dyed using Rit DyeMore Synthetic in Royal Purple

• Trims/bevels made using fabric wrapped in EVA foam from Polyprops

• Prop made using EVA foam and metallic HexFlex paints from Polyprops

Costume Details

This version of Caitlyn from League of Legends was initially released in February 2023 as part of their Valentine’s skin line. I knew I wanted to cosplay it from the second I saw it- the pinks/purples, the Y2K aesthetic, it was totally my vibe plus Caitlyn is one of my League mains!

Thankfully, League of Legends UK contacted me about commissioning this cosplay to wear at the MSI finals, one of their biggest esports competitions which was to be held in London in May. I jumped at the chance!
